On now are 4 A4 pages of Dartmoor Letterbox stamps for sale.

The description states:
Obsolete Dartmoor letterbox stamps / from the 1990's some rare complete sets including Pilgrim on the Maltern way, The Runnage to Widecombe and The Halter path plus two sides of the best excellent hand cut stamps and some more general sets 4 Full A4 Card pages plus 1 card with one stamp completing a set in plastic sleeves.
All stamps were word of mouth and stamped in various colours on plain postcard which have been cut and mounted onto A4 sheets and placed in plastic sleeves. Your opportunity to own copies of some of the best Dartmoor letter box sets put out. I WILL BE SELLING OFF MANY MORE OF THESE PAGES OVER THE NEXT FEW MONTHS INCLUDING MANY PAGES OF CUT HILL STAMPS COLLECTED DURING THE 1980'S TO EARLY 2000'S

All in all, this is a little disheartening (and I'm not just talking about the lack of full-stops). You can do what you like with your woven patches, but selling inky shapes on paper - no matter how 'rare' they are - really?!?

If you MUST buy these in order to claim your 100 club membership - SHAME ON YOU! ... 929wt_1139
Opening bid 99p.

Being of a very suspicious nature - i.e. a Yorkshire lad - I would ask myself if anyone selling items that are basically a 'hobby ' for profit - where did that person acquire such articles, are they in fact genuine and at the end of the day do they really have a marketable value.

It also makes me think - steal a few boxes off the moor and maybe sell them also. Then - well, whatever next?

Any offers on 370 original hand cut rubber stamps dating back to 1986, limited originals / copies of said stamps, original books of visitors to said stamps, original pill pots with logo on lids that housed said stamps, albums of original original post cards of original stamps pre siting in moor.

You know the old saying - 'if you cannot beat them-----'!

What a really sad world we now live in!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't believe these stamps ended up on ebay. It appears when you click on the other pages they are owned by Bernie Millington. No wonder he is offering hand cut Cut Hill stamps, most of his boxes were sited up there in his hey day. Think he has stopped boxing now, and obviously wants to get rid of the stamps and make a bit of money as well. Shame, those stamps he shows are most Tim Sandles ones. Beautifully drawn and cut.
