#1 Post by moorland wizard » Sat Sep 22, 2007 4:03 pm

We are so glad to say that we know have 101 stamps in our book. Many thanks to James and Jenny and with there "Traveling Stamp" made the 100 mark, also to the lady and gentleman who gave us some help with ones we walked passed and missed.

Well done monkey - I remember it well when I returned to the moors one bank holiday Monday to get 4 to make up to 100 - the day before I'd been out for just over 12 hours and just could not find those elusive 4, but the next morning found them within about half an hour.

Welcome to the Club.

next target 2000 - hopefully some time in 2010 (ha, ha, make that 2013)

Prepare yourselves now - for many hours digesting and reading through the catalogue

Well done on your 100 and the one extra for luck!

Hi MOTM!

That's excellent news that you've got your 100th stamp! (It was also the first time our Traveller stamp had been used!)

It was great to bump into you yesterday - we had only been on the Moors for 5 minutes, were looking for our first box, and lo and behold.....you were sitting right on top of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The chances of that must be 1 in :?: :?: :?: :?:

Just got back home now after being rained off. Tried for an hour this morning, but got very wet and the low cloud made taking bearings impossible. Very annoying! Next time though!

Good luck with the next 100 stamps!

Best wishes

James & Jenny :D
326 stamps collected - lots more to go!

The forecast was for once spot on. Not really a day to stray too far from the beaten paths of the moor.
