EBH Animal series - missing.

#1 Post by The Nesty Crew » Sun Aug 29, 2010 7:31 pm

Just dropping by to let people know, and hopefully the owner, that the following boxes are possibly missing

EBH animal series No 1 - Monkey - 39146
Is listed to be under a gorse bush, but the gorse has been burnt and there was no sign of box.

EBH animal series No3 - Kangaroo -39148
Is no where to be seen, this box is sited not too far from my own, and we would always check it on the way to ours.

Fingers crossed they've just been taken in for maintenance :?

Best wishes

Boxes on Site

#2 Post by Box Hunter » Sun Jul 31, 2011 10:07 am

I went looking for this series on Friday 29 July. Numbers 2, 3, 4, 8, 9 and 10 are on site. I didn't find 1 and 6 (but didn't have a stick with me so was a bit circumspect about burrowing into gorse bushes!). I also found number 7 (hippo) sitting in the open amid the melted remains of its box after a gorse fire. I have taken the stamp in and pm'd the Exeter Bog Hoppers (whom I'm guessing are the owners; please can someone let me know if not). I will also let Angela know for the updates.
Patience helps....
