Get those walks done while you can folks!

A quote from the www.metoffice.gov.uk for us:
"Outlook for Monday to Wednesday: Outbreaks of rain clearing southwards during Monday. Becoming colder thereafter with sunshine and wintry showers, and snow over the Moors. Wet on Wednesday with further snow possible on high ground."

.... and the snow levels out the ground, so can be dangerous if covering a hollow etc... Also covers the hiding places, BUT if you are lucky enough to follow another boxer out on the moors, just follow the tracks 8)

The other things to be wary of is a blizzard... a total whiteout...
Some years ago I was out on the moors with my family when the snow started to fall up by Soldiers Pond. Couldn't see a thing and had to rely upon the traffic rolling over the cattle grid to give us a direction to go in, as sound we could only just hear.
Then there is the sun bouncing off the snow which can cause blindness... Sunglasses are definitely advisable!
