Travelling Stamps on White Tor? Help

#1 Postby smartieb » Mon Feb 17, 2014 4:51 pm

We were up on white tor yesterday and found a letterbox up there with additional stamps in them which the owner doesn't know anything about and was wondering if any one could help.
There were 2 stamps in a pill pot, 1 depicting a hare/rabbit and the other was all writing - Lych Way Crossing Walkham River.
Are these travelling stamps? Not knowing they were not part of the box we left them where they were but if any one can shed any light on them it would be most appreciatted

This answer is pure speculation....
The Hare may well be a moving box, and the other left in the box by a guilty boxer who forgot to put it back in its original site when last out boxing
