Its a pity, but Saddle Tor has always been an easy target for vandals...

Thanks for the welcome. Ah, sad that people damage boxes. This was only our second go at letterboxing and a fantastic and successful day but there were a few unidentifiable boxes due to sodden books.

As long as there has been letterboxing, there have been those people seeking ways to ruin it. I'm pleased you've enjoyed your first couple of walks.

With regards the mushy visitors books: If the stamps are unique enough, you can post their description here on the forum, and someone might identify it for you.
