William Crossing's Memorial Box at Duck's Pool

Visited here yesterday while putting out my new set of 6 stamps (Man Made On The Moor), and while the container and book are in pristine condition, the stamp itself has come apart. I noted the contact number in the book....but subsequently lost it. Feel free to pass on this information to whoever it...

Not sure whether the other one is a 'traveller' that Dave had on him when I bumped into him on the moor somewhere?

It was a long time ago!

I have just 'googled' Grant's Pot and it would appear that one of the original 15 letterbox stamps was sited there.

I don't know if it is one of yours Nik, but I found 'Nik's moving box No4' on Brent Moor near the Avon Dam in late 2007.

WW2 Sighting Compass

I was on ebay looking at possibly bidding for a sighting compass and I came across this WW2 beauty. It measures about 25cm X 10cm, fancy lugging that great thing around the moor! http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee210/RockyLad/WW2SightingCompass1.jpg http://i234.photobucket.com/albums/ee210/RockyL...
