Black flags Hound Tor Haytor
Does anyone know why there are small black 'flags' on a piece of string draped through the trees in the valley between Haytor and Hound Tor

Harford Moor -boxes gone/destroyed
Every box (7) that I looked for last week with some children from school on Harford or Ugborough Moor had either been removed or destroyed as there were some broken pots - what a dissapointment, anyone have any information please?

Please help - does anyone have the two and can they advise how to transfer info from MM to the Garmin - keep on getting error messages.

I do agree in that it is the school of navigating and using a compass that I enjoy - not that we find many boxes, usually lots of luck involved! Totally agree with you. Have had some even more dissapointing moments when I think I have come across a letterbox and find it is a bag of someone's rubbish stuffed in a hole. Difficult boxes
Does anyone else have specific boxes that defeat them? Mine at the moment is Sue's Crosses No. 10 - Driving me to distraction!
